Developing the need analysis instruments

The Ukrainian partners continue to actively develop the need analysis instruments within the first work package. Thus, on April 27, 2020, the regular online working meeting of the participants of the Erasmus+ project “New governance mechanisms based on partnership and standardization of teacher training in Ukraine (PAGOSTE)” was held using the Webex Meet platform.

On April 27, 2020, the regular online meeting of the Erasmus+ project “New governance mechanisms based on partnership and standardization of teacher training in Ukraine (PAGOSTE)” participants was held using the Webex Meet platform.

Representatives include:

  • University of Konstanz (Germany)
  • Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (Ukraine)
  • South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky (Ukraine)
  • National Transport University (Ukraine)
  • Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy (Ukraine)
  • Institute of Vocational Education and Training of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine (Ukraine)

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the tools for studying:

  • the quality of training of VET teachers in Ukraine
  • the satisfaction of VET teachers with preparation of students to teaching activities and collaboration of main stakeholders (institutions of higher and vocational education)
  • the ways of improving cooperation of stakeholders in the vocational teacher education, in particular involvement of VET teachers in training in institutions of higher education, improving teaching internship
  • the reasonability of cooperation in the field of advanced training of VET teachers in institutions of higher education

Based on the conducted research, the project participants are planning to elaborate mechanisms for governance of vocational teacher education based on partnership and collaboration of the  main stakeholders.

During the online meeting, the partners agreed on the structure and content of the questionnaire for conducting a survey of VET teachers.
