Online meeting with "EU4Skills: better skills for modern Ukraine”

On March 24, 2021, an online meeting of the participants of the projects Erasmus+ “New mechanisms of partnership-based governance and standardization of vocational teacher education in Ukraine (PAGOSTE)” and “EU4Skills: better skills for modern Ukraine” took place.

EU4Skills is a joint program of the EU and its members: Germany, Finland, Poland and Estonia for supporting reform of vocational education in Ukraine.

The aim of the program is to support the reform of vocational education in Ukraine, adapt training to the requirements of the labor market and help young people and adults to realize their potential.

The purpose of the meeting was to present PAGOSTE and EU4Skills projects, including their tasks, current and expected results, activities, as well as to discuss areas of cooperation.

Thomas Deissinger and Oksana Melnyk (University of Konstanz, Germany) presented PAGOSTE project, Svitlana Tsymbaliuk (Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Ukraine) shared experience in implementing ITE-VET and PAGOSTE projects at the university.

The participants of the meeting agreed to organize joint events (seminars, workshops, round tables, conferences, trainings etc.), as well as other forms of cooperation.
