Podcast with Prof. Thomas Deissinger on the PAGOSTE Project at NCVER’s “Vocational Voices”

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Thomas Deissinger from the University of Konstanz has participated in the latest episode of “Vocational Voices” podcast, produced by the National Centre of Vocational Education Research (NCVER). Prof. Deissinger was invited to discuss the Erasmus+ project PAGOSTE, following his presentation at the 33rd National VET Research Conference ‘No Frills,’ held from July 10-12, 2024, in Perth, Australia.

During the conference, Prof. Deissinger presented key insights from the PAGOSTE project, which focuses on developing partnerships in vocational education and training (VET) teacher education in Ukraine. His report highlights the challenges and opportunities in advancing teacher training within the framework of international collaboration, shedding light on how this can strengthen the vocational education sector in Ukraine.

In the podcast, Prof. Deissinger delves deeper into the project’s main findings and the role of such international partnerships in shaping the future of VET systems, particularly in post-Soviet contexts like Ukraine. He explores how the PAGOSTE project contributes to improving the quality of vocational education by bridging gaps between educational institutions and industry needs.
